Where can I get one?

I’m assuming they use a smart card that is loaded with money to pay for the taste. Maybe argon to keep the wine fresh? I didn’t have time to watch the whole video. I remember that a San Francisco bar was using a machine like this a few years back. I cannot recall the name, but they loaded it up with very high end wines. Although you might not be able to afford that $300 bottle, you might be willing to pay $20-$30 for a one oz. taste of it.

The super couvinade, I feel it’s a two edged sword. On the one hand it’s a completely impersonal technology-aided pleasurable experience on par with “The Orgazmatron” from Woody Allen’s “Sleeper” on the other, it might just be the best business model ever invented.

If I could get one of these puppies for less than a hudred grand, I’d be tempted to put them to use in a high end laundramat downtown. If I was even more shameless and wanted to get sued in order to raise publicity, I’d call it “The French Laundry” and have washer, dryers and all french wines all payable with a prepaid card. In true laundramat style, it would be staffed by just one person. I’d make millions.
